BIOGRAPHY

September 13, 1983 - Present - Mechanical Engineer and Plastic Artist.

Born and raised in San José Tetecuintla, former Hacienda in Hidalgo, México. While spending his childhood in the country side, his parents provided him the opportunity of exploring Plastic Arts in several facets.

The first approach was to Origami, he demonstrated a natural ability and interest for this ancient Asian craftsmanship. At the age of 5, before knowing how to read; he was capable of diagram interpretation and art-piece reproduction. This was his first written language.

With time, Francisco showed interest in drawing and painting. The primary motivation was to understand and capture the nature of crystals in his art. He admires the beauty of the optical phenomena present in these materials – transparency, Fresnel reflections, refractions and caustics. Francisco used to play games with light and crystals, reason for which he calls himself Champion of the Light (campeonLuz).

Moreover, Francisco was introduced to the Mechanical Engineering world by his father. This discipline was a crossroad that empowered him to combine the best of two worlds, Science and Art. Inspired by the Japanese Macross Anime series, Francisco understood that aircraft development and design is gallant but challenging – making of him to excel his logical and artistic skills to dedicate his professional career to the Aerospace Industry.

Nowadays Francisco makes use of his free time to explore the foundations of human expression and imagination by means of the sculpture and digital painting.

People like us reliefs their emotional load and potentiates their spiritual energy by using the artistic expression. Art can be found anywhere… just take a look around. My maximum art expressions are friendship and love.

I’ve joined this community to share my feelings, my emotions… my art. At the same time I’m also interested in exploring those of others and share opinions with people that uses the same communication language, art.
